Nicholas Russi, LAADC, CADC-II, CCS – Co-FounderFootprints BHC was co-founded by Nicholas Russi, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Nicholas has worked in the field of addiction and mental health treatment for over 12 years.
In addiction, a recovering person himself, he has had the fortune of helping addicts all over the world, founding programs in the USA, Costa Rica and Panama Central America.In addition to his professional license in California, he currently holds a certification in counseling and clinical supervision.

Dr. R. Jordan Turner, DO - PsychiatryDr. Turner received his medical degree from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Psychiatry Residency training at Loma Linda University. Dr. Turner primarily works in general adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and addiction medicine. He has particular passion and extensive experience in managing substance use disorders and has served as Medical Director for numerous programs and hospitals. Everyday he strives to thoroughly understand human psychology and psychopathology hoping to relieve suffering and foster the growth of the patients he treats. Dr. Turner is a talented musician; he plays the guitar, piano, and drums. In his spare time, he also enjoys reading, bird watching, and traveling. He currently resides in Southern California where he lives with his wife and four children.
Christopher Larry, LPT - Executive DirectorChristopher has over 20 years of experience in the addiction and mental health field. As a License Psychiatric Technician, he has worked at State and County programs, Forensic Psychiatric Hospitals, Grant Funded Programs, as well as Behavioral Health Treatment facilities. Christopher’s experience and leadership focuses on management and delivery of healthcare services along with effective communication to successfully utilize resources to provide quality client care.
Christopher’s passion for appropriate care, centered in dignity for clients, encompasses ensuring best care practices by caregivers and providers, client education in order to empower self-advocacy and family education to enable client advocacy. With his extensive knowledge of in-patient treatment services, RTC, and outpatient services such as PHP and IOP gives him the ability to understand the continuum of care that is needed for successful treatment in today’s ever-expanding health care field.
Natali Schmitz – Director of Human ResourcesJoining the HR team in 2016, Natali comes to Footprints BHC with over 10 years experience in customer service, human resources and community outreach. She has also been active in marketing and fundraising. Natali oversees employee relations, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition and and succession planning while maximizing employee engagement and the overall employment experience. She has a passion for working in the behavioral health and substance abuse field and supplies an atmosphere of support for both the company and the staff who work here.
Diana Miltenburg - Clinical DirectorDiana received her Master of Social Work degree from USC Graduate School of Social Work, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from CSULB. She practices and advocates for Client-centered, Strengths-based, Holistic Behavioral Health Care, and Clinical Social Services to the seriously mentally ill, and addiction populations.
Diana acquired her knowledge and experience in a variety of acute psychiatric, Long-term Residential, and community-based outpatient settings. In addition, she has extensive experience working with County of Orange Health Care Agency; Public Guardians Office (LPS Public/Private Conservatorships) & Probate Conservatorships; County Council and Public Defenders Office; Office of Patient’s Rights; Centralized Assessment Team (CAT), Residential Care & Emergency Housing Office, and the OC Sheriff’s Department.
Proudly serving as the Clinical Director at Footprints Behavioral Health providing clinical supervision, professional development and administrative oversight, management and support to the Clinical team, Diana supports and advocates for Human Rights, Patient’s Rights, and the provision of humane treatment and care of vulnerable, at risk people.
David Coulter - Director of Education & TrainingDavid started at Footprints Behavioral Health Center in March 2016 and has been involved with the recovery community since 2012. David has strived to set a higher standard that supports effective treatment within the industry by utilizing his experience and education. David received his Master of Education, with an emphasis on College Student Affairs, from Azusa Pacific University in 2004. He is authentic, leads by example to model the program of recovery by implementing recovery principles in his everyday life. David is supportive, personable and passionate about helping others get their lives back.
Shiva Shenavai - Director of Quality AssuranceShiva joined our team in September of 2016 and played a vital role in the development of the Quality Assurance Department. She has four years of experience in substance abuse and mental health care facilities. Throughout her career, Shiva has continued to gain knowledge of the different aspects of running a program including but not limited to clinical care, medication management, operations, licensing/accreditation, and compliance. Her experience in this field has enabled her to think critically and provide creative solutions for improving quality of services rendered. She has been able to create and implement many policies and procedures that provide infrastructure and efficiency for Footprints BHC. Shiva is passionate and dedicated to the success of each individual client and believes strongly in providing a safe environment to enable growth and recovery. Shiva received her Bachelor's in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton in 2016 and is advancing her skills with the goal of obtaining her Master’s degree in Social Work.
Lori Secord - Operations Director - Orange CountyMs. Secord graduated from San Diego City College with a certification in Alcohol and Drug studies. Lori’s career is built on more than 10 years of experience as a residential safety officer, program manager, and counselor in mental health and substance abuse. Lori comes to work as Program Director at Footprints BHC managing our Residential and Intensive Outpatient programs in five Orange County treatment facilities. She has a passion for assisting people with overcoming obstacles and always goes above and beyond for our clients and the staff she supervises.
Helen Eneyew - Director of Client Care - Orange CountyHelen Eneyew, LVN, Orange County Client Care Manager at Footprints Behavioral Health is a Licensed Vocational Nurse with over 6 years of experience in substance abuse, eating disorders and mental health care. Helen manages the nursing staff and oversees day-to-day client care. Her roles include administering medication, helping clients manage withdrawal symptoms, providing education about substance abuse and mental health, and supporting families and clients as they work on their recovery. Helen works diligently with our Medical Director and the staff she supervises to ensure all medical needs are met. She is passionate about her work and is in the process of advancing her skills by earning a bachelor of science in nursing.
David Ramirez - Operations Director - Los Angeles CountySince coming on to the company in Mid-March of 2016, David has taken the opportunity to serve the company in a variety of different roles. Beginning as a behavioral health technician with FBH, David has been able to grow and develop with, the vision and mission of the company, adding to the culture of recovery that is fostered within its facilities.
Relying on his studies rooted in the servant leadership style, his aim is to provide excellent service for both client and staff alike. David understands the utter importance of building solid working relationships based on the desire to develop individuals to move forward with confidence and understanding. His leadership style and studies are used in conjunction with his education earned from Pierce College’s revered Addiction Studies program in Woodland Hills. By creating a well balanced mix of business management and knowledge of the full spectrum of substance abuse treatment, David has tailored his approach to be fluid with the industry standards and expectations to remain able to perform at maximum service levels for his clients and his team.
Jesus Gaspar - Client Care Manager - Los Angeles CountyJesus Gaspar, LVN is the Los Angeles Client Care Manager at Footprints Behavioral Health. He has been working in behavioral health and substance abuse since 2014 and utilizes his experience by providing the most excellent care possible during our clients stay. Jesus is responsible for managing all aspects of client care, education, and the supervision of nursing staff. He works diligently with our Medical Director and client care staff to ensure all medical needs is met. Jesus has a caring personality and finds it rewarding to see the transformation that takes place in clients during rehabilitation treatment.
Alyssa Welch - Billings and Collections ManagerAlyssa Welch joined the Footprints team in 2016 bringing billing and collection strategies, compliance, and innovation to the Billing and Collections department. She coordinates with our billing company and individual insurance companies on a daily basis to ensure information is up to date. As insurance billing can be confusing, she takes the time to speak with any client who has any concerns or questions.
